1. Introduction
CalendarsPro ("we", "our", or "us") operates a booking management platform that helps businesses manage appointments, schedules, and client bookings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business details such as your business name, address, and operating hours.

We automatically collect certain information when you access the platform, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken within the application.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To improve and personalize your experience on the platform
- To analyze usage patterns and optimize platform performance
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore infrastructure. Firebase provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit, regular security audits, and compliance with industry standards.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how our platform is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, database, and hosting
- Google Cloud Platform — Cloud functions and infrastructure
- Google Analytics — Usage analytics (if enabled)
These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.
7. Use of Google APIs and Google User Data
CalendarsPro offers an optional Google Calendar integration that allows merchants to push their CalendarsPro bookings to a Google Calendar they own. When you choose to connect a Google account, we request the following Google API scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events— to create, update, and delete calendar events that correspond to your CalendarsPro bookings. We only modify events that we created. We do not read, modify, or delete other events on your calendar.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email— to display the email address of the connected Google account in your CalendarsPro settings so you know which account is linked.
What we store
We store the OAuth access token and refresh token issued by Google, the connected account's email address, and the identifier of the calendar event we created for each booking. Tokens are stored in our Firestore database, scoped to your merchant document and protected by access rules that restrict reads and writes to you and our backend.
How we use Google user data
We use Google user data solely to provide the user-facing features described above (pushing booking events to your Google Calendar and displaying your connected email). CalendarsPro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we do not do
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or analytics.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) when required by law, (c) for security investigations into abuse, or (d) when the data has been aggregated and anonymised so it cannot identify any individual.
- We do not use Google user data to train or improve generalised machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
- We do not sell Google user data.
Revoking access and deleting Google data
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from CalendarsPro → Settings → Google Calendar → Disconnect. Disconnecting revokes our refresh token with Google and removes our copy of your tokens and connected calendar metadata from our database. You can also revoke our access directly from your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Calendar events that were already created in your Google Calendar are owned by your Google account and remain on your calendar after disconnection unless you delete them yourself.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Objection — Object to certain processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Booking records may be retained in anonymized form for analytics purposes.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
